They go above and beyond to help and make you welcome and comfortable. One staff at front desk was super quick on his feet, didn't get his name, male, short hair with glasses. Very knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly and quick to answer questions and help. Place was clean, new and quiet during my stay. Cleaning staff was excellent and detail oriented. Bed and pillow was excellent and temp in room was comfy and super quiet experience. Def worth the experience.

The various amenities also felt modern. I found the laundry convenient, as did a number of other guests who I met while waiting for a load to complete. The atmosphere was friendly and helpful when I encountered any difficulties understanding the instructions.

Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). My stay at the Wenjun Courtyard hotel was truly amazing! Frank, Kimberley, Zoey and Bella made sure to help me with all my questions and cleared up any uncertainties I had, even before I checked in. The building itself is clean, perfectly located in Chengdu and has a lot of charme! We had the hotel arrange a driver to get us to Qingchenshan and also booked tickets for the Panda Base and Sichuan Opera with their help, all of which we would do again. I plan on visiting Chengdu again in the future and for sure will be booking the same hotel again.

Chengdu est une ville fabuleuse, pleine de sites intéressants. Très peu de touristes, les habit(ants sont très courtois envers les étrangers, très chaleureux. Je recommande la visite des sites archéologiques, du temple taoïste, des parcs, de l'incroyable centre au bout de la ligne 1 du métro, avec une plage à l'intérieur ! Génial. Et le Tianfu square, et la grande bibliothèque duy Sichuan (monter au 5ème) En plus, proximité de Dujiangyan, qui vaut aussi une visite, et de Leshan et son grand Bouddha (Dafo). Vraiment, une ville à connaitre. On peut manger dans d'innombrables petites gargotes. Je recommande le canard, et le porc rôti. Les légumes sont parfois très épiciés, demander "bu la" pour avoir du moins épicé. J'attends d'avoir l'occasion d'y retourner

De nombreux temples à visiter dans la ville. Le centre des pandas est vraiment génial. Attention aux plats sichuanais qui sont très épicés!!
Le parc de l'UNESCO est tout simplement magnifique ! L'organisation du site est adéquate pour pouvoir profiter des différents lacs, même si on peut y reprocher un dénaturement du site avec le principe des navettes. (Que je conseil tout de même d'utiliser pour pouvoir profiter de l'ensemble du site). La partie la plus belle est le chemin de l'Est, mais si vous commencez tôt le matin, vous devriez avoir le temps d'aller à l'Ouest. Il serait dommage de manquer ce dernier lac, qui est tout simplement somptueux ! Si vous avez l'occasion de visiter le Sichuan, ne loupez pas cet endroit !
Stop believing that there is nothing to do in Chengdu. Two whole days are necessary to enjoy the city itself. We spent 3 more days for the sites near-but-outside Chengdu. If the spicy food of Sichuan is really too spicy for you, no worries, you can find delicious stuffs all around the city or tell to your 火锅 restauraut that you cannot eat spicy. Have a nice stay in Chengdu :)
Les gens disent qu'une fois arrivé à chengdu on ne veut plus en partir, et c'est vrai. Après 10 mois à y vivre en tant qu'étudiante, j'ai appris à apprécier son ambiance désorganisée et détendue, sa cuisine épicée et la population sichuanaise, chaleureuse et curieuse. Les lieux touristiques dans la ville et aux alentours sont nombreux et valent le déplacement. Parmis mes préférés : le cottage de Dufu, le quartier traditionnel de Jinli, le mont Qingcheng, le barrae de Dujiangyan... En faisant un peu plus de route, on peut visiter les sources naturelles de Jiuzhaigou (chef d oeuvre de la Nature), le Bouddha géabt de Leshan taillé dans la falaise ou encore l'une des cong montagnes sacrées de Chine : le mont Emei, dont le temple grandiose culmine à 3000m. On oublie évidement pas le centre des pandas. Les taxis grouillent sur les routes et sont à un prix dérisoire, bus et métro sont aussi faciles d'accès. En bref, qui veut découvrir Chengdu en tombe amoureux.
J'ai fait 3 jours à Chengdu, ce qui est suffisant pour faire le tour des principales attractions. Les parcs sont vraiment sympas, les maisons de thés sont agréables et la cuisine vraiment très bonne. Les habitants sont très chaleureux et de nombreuses personnes nous ont aidé spontanément. Les 3 points forts de mon séjour : les pandas, la chaumière DuFu et l'Opéra sichuanais.
People are very enthusiast and happy to talk with us. The city is a little town in the north of Sichuan and it’s a wonderful experiences to go there and discover the life of Chinese people. You can visit the town by foot and you will find lots of shops, restaurants and convenient stores. I firmly remand you to stay in Emma’s Guesthouse.
La chambre était grande et propre. Le logement était bien situé. Le personnel était sympatique et a donné de bons conseils sur les lieux à visiter au Sichuan. Je reviendrai surement dans cet hôtel pour mon prochain séjour à Chengdu. Merci à Franck, Kimberley et Joey !
Le petit déjeuner et la situation géographique. L’hôtel se trouve dans un quartier animé avec de nombreux restaurants et magasins. Le bus pour la réserve des pandas se trouve juste devant l’hôtel. L’opéra du Sichuan et la vieille ville ne sont pas loin.

The Niccolo Chengdu is perfectly located right next to Taikoo Li, an upscale open-air shopping area that also includes the Da'ci Temple. It's also conveniently connected to the IFS (huge shopping mall). The service was excellent—attentive and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and included nightly turndown service, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was also generously sized. The concierge service stood out, with Jon providing outstanding assistance in organizing all of our attraction bookings. Highly recommended!
