Many lovely sites. Nature (Daming Lake, 1000 Buddha Mountain), history (Shandong Museum). But the traffic and pollution detract from the experience.
The city itself is real beautiful- clean and the weather in autumn is so good. The Old Town district is pretty with easy transportation from one location to another. The water world Is good for an afternoon visit. Shame I cannot see Laoshan but heard u will def need one day there or more as there r a few entrances with different routes and scenery. Would be more fun if could visit other cities in the Shandong area like Dalian etc.
