Wow, this is an excellent hotel. Super attentive staff and wonderful restaurant. We stayed in the hotel which was perfect. I would stay there again on our next visit.

Facing the beachfront, Huiro Lodge offers 4-star accommodation in Corral and features free bikes, garden and shared lounge. Clifftop setting with views of the ocean, surrounded by forest. Fascinating area to visit. The dome is out of the ordinary, with a terrace and good bathroom, well maintained. Only the sound of the ocean at night. Breakfast brought to the room in the morning. Friendly and helpful hosts. There is a separate building with a kitchen and dining table for those who bring their own food.

Villa del Rio Express offers accommodations in Valdivia, 4km away from city centre. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the common areas and guests are served a daily breakfast. Rooms were basic, but very clean, had a TV, phone, and fridge. View was great out the room's window! Staff was very friendly and courteous, and Alberto let me check in early. I am very grateful!

Set in a stylish German style building, Hotel Naguilan offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, and breakfast, 1900 metres from Valdivia Main Square. Front desk: The front desk clerks were very hospitable, and kindly offered and arranged the reservation of taxi to a place I'd have liked to go. They also consulted me nicely about the activities in Valdivia such as a ferry tour. Bathroom: There was a small central heating system in the bathroom to keep it warm, in addition to the main one in the bedroom. There was a support bar on the wall aside the bathtub, to help us not to slip during a bath, that is helpful not only for elder people but also for anybody. There was a plug of the bathtub. It suggests, in addition to the side of the hotel, previous hotel guests have had good manners. As bathtubs in Chile are not usually equipped with a ring such that the plug is connected to the bathtub by the chain of the plug, the plug has got lost in some hotels even when the hotels equip with bathtub. View (location): The hotel lights up the garden along the river at night, that gave me further nice memory of the place. The main building of the hotel is one of the charming buildings along the Valdivia river between the bank and Haverbeck island. It must have been contributing to Valdivia's name among tourists, as I saw the building attracted the eyes of ferry tour's passengers. Breakfast: The hotel is very exceptional in Chile in that it served vegetable in addition to fruit at breakfast. I’ve ever met in any other hotels I stayed in Santiago, Valparaiso, Puerto Montt, Castro, Temuco, Pucón, Osorno.

Situated in downtown Valdivia, only 2 blocks from Plaza Republica, services include free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking. Cosy rooms are offered at Melillanca. I enjoyed the rose garden in full bloom. The restaurant was really top quality, see photos. Unfortunately, there is no view from the rooms, but the river is just two blocks down. The staff were very kind and helpful. They took care of the details, like fetching bottled water, that make a difference. It's not new, but it's classy.
