They kindly accepted our requests Especially the receptionist in the evening spoke Japanese and really helped us a lot. The room was very comfortable and clean with the view of a part of Matterhorn. We enjoyed delicious cheese fondue at a little but cozy hut. It was really special and great! Breakfast and dinner were also wonderful. We definitely want to come back here!

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. The woman who checked us in could not have been more friendly and helpful. She was simply very wonderful. Regrets I do not remember her name. Each coming and going she was there with a smile. Answered all our questions. 5 stars! The breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our 9 day journey- We stayed at a total of 4 hotels. The food was plentiful, well prepared and lots of options. We did have a very nice view of the Matterhorn, Room 502, I believe. The TV was on when we entered with a welcoming remark and then a video of a crackling fireplace. Perfect. Best of all was the employee at the check desk.
