I stayed in this location because I wanted to see the Perseid meteor shower and the back garden was perfect for lying under the stars. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was okay.

Center Loewenberg, the seminar and convention center of the SBB, and is located in Murten, 15 mi from Bern and 9.3 mi from Friborg. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Small room, but very clean. Very Good breakfast, 2 minutes away from the Lake. Also the food at the Restaurant/Kantine was exceptional good, big surprise for me. Also vegetarian options! The Bar, open in the evening, is also very nice with sitting area outside.

The entire staff could not have been nicer— Patrick was amazing! It was a rare chance to stay in a castle with amazing grounds, just a mile away from historic Murten - Morat. Located in rural surroundings in Praz on the shore of Lake Murten, Hôtel Restaurant Cave Bel-Air offers a private beach, a garden and rooms with a balcony and beautiful views of the lake. The lake-side location, the garden terraces, the room size, and the comfort of the bed & bedding were all excellent. We were over the moon that there was a large fan in our room during the heatwave days of July. The staff was pleasant, kind and accommodating. The breakfast coffee was superb, the best I've had in my many visits to Switzerland.
