The hotel was right by the train station and near the center of the town so very easy to walk around. And the staff were so kind and thoughtful! I will definitely come back and stay here again in the future.

I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!

Offering panoramic views of the Alpstein Massif, Hotel Alpenblick is located in the village of Schwende in the Canton of Appenzell. It offers direct mountain views in all rooms. The room was perfect, great view from the balkony, super quiet. Great brekfast!

Very well taken care of, renovated and very clean. Small rooms but practical and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with very high quality of products and great presentation. Really a gem, sparkling clean and beautiful all over.

Featuring free WiFi, Appenzeller Huus Bären offers pet-friendly accommodation with sun terrace in Gonten, 1.7 km from Luftseilbahn Jakobsbad-Kronberg. it was amazing. Everything was great. Beautiful interior. The family suit was georges. Breakfast is very tasty. The location is perfect but mostly we like the stuff. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the lady with short hair who waited for us until we arrived. Also we send lots of greetings to a very kind and nice lady with glasses who is in charge of the breakfast. If we ever visit again this area we will definitely come back
