Way more hip than any other hospitality staff I've met in Bulgaria. The design concept was great - cool breezes on the balcony and a lovely dinner in the great restaurant. Obviously popular with the local smart crowd. Best nights sleep this trip.

I was sorry I could not spend more time in the park You need to get a taxi up to the fortress but then I walked through the forest to the monument and down the hundred of stairs to the town.It is easy to get around in the town proper One bus a day to the horseman or you can take a taxi. It is about 9 kilometres outside Shumen
