Featuring a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, Vibe Hotel Hobart is located in the centre of Hobart, 2 km from Short Beach. Spacious and comfortable room with a great view of the waterfront. Good bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, a comfortable couch, and soft carpeting. And our son and daughter-in-law had a suite big enough for a cot for their baby, just as we’d requested. What we especially appreciated is that instead of pretensions of luxury typical of so many hotels these days, we found down-to-earth hospitality and practical amenities. Excellent value for the price.

No Noise from the pub in the Front Building or the hustle of Salamanca Market. The Room as a Bit of a dark, Loungie vibe, which I liked. In you are looking for a bright Room with big windows and Lots of daylight, this is Not the Room for you. Minibar prices are very reasonable as well.

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village offers self-contained accommodation, nestled in a rainforest setting with native wildlife throughout the property. We really enjoyed our stay here. The setting is gorgeous and the room is comfortable and well equipped. The food in the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were absolutely excellent with their service and communication. Unfortunately we didn’t get all their names but Ethan was one! Highly recommend staying here.

Sitting alongside Hobart's waterfront, the historic Henry Jones Art Hotel offers luxurious rooms offering water or courtyard views. We have one of the LOFT studio (with sitting, kitchen, and bathroom / toilet below and the bed with another TV & air-cond/heater up-stair), and it was the best accommodation of our trip. The room is perfectly clean, the kitchen is well equipped with all sort of drinks (sparkling water, soft drink, juice, gin, whisky, vodka, wine...coffee, tea...even a traveller adapter and Panadol!!! - all at a price). The choice of movies (NEW and old) is fantastic - it will takes at least 10 days to finish with 24 hours continuous watching! In the bathroom, all towers are doubles (like for 4 persons, though it's a room for 2). At the ground floor are the lounge, bar, restaurant, and cafe (the breakfast was nice! & the manager a very easy going friendly person) and a big under-covered courtyard with lots of tables & chairs - there is also an art gallery. The location of the hotel is PERFECT for me, as my trip to Hobart is to try some nice foods around and take some photos. Also there is complementary valet parking for our car and was there ready in the morning when we check out - THANK YOU, GUYS!

Just 2 minutes' walk from Sullivan's Cove and Salamanca Place, this restored mansion in Hobart offers modern accommodation with flat-screen cable TV and panoramic views of the harbour, mountain, city... Lenna Of Hobart is a fabulous hotel. It is located between Salamanca and Battery Point, giving you easy access to all the main tourist spots, but also local cafes and shops. It is a historic building that has been done up beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with comfortable bed and a great shower. A real benefit for us were the guest laundry facilities that allowed us to wash clothes between between hiking/kayaking adventures. The hotel was brilliant at ensuring our bags (which we left in storage as we went hiking/kayaking) were put in our rooms, ready for our return. Overall, a brilliant hotel.
