The place is so beautifully decorated. The fittings were luxurious, and it's very spacious and comfortable. Some may not like the open toilet concept, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue if you are travelling with your spouse/partner. The bathtub was huge and comfortable after a cold rainy day out exploring, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the breakfast! Not a lot of selection but enough to keep you full and everything was delicious and homely.

This is a very nice and convenient place to stay while visiting some of the Great Ocean Road sights. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was good. There were nice extras available, like a restaurant and spa. The grounds were pleasantly landscaped.

Captain's at the Bay is located in the heart of Apollo Bay, less than 5 minutes’ walk from restaurants, cafes and shops. Free WiFi access is available. Great reception along with tips to visit. Nice touches around the place that made us feel welcome.

The property had all the amenities that a person could ask for if you are traveling as a tourist.
