Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl. a good hotel in a beautiful garden, with an indoor pool. The rooms lacks character but the attached restaurant is worth visiting ( But you need to be very patient !). You are very close to Traunsee, go by car and visit the lake and chapel.

Boutiquehotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen is located close the heart of the city of Gmunden, cross the Traun bridge with best lake view. Location was phenomenal, very close to the lakefront. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The rooftop sauna was exceptional as well, and there are even two mountain bikes at the hotel for more adventurous guests. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of hearty food options to suit different tastes. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly, answering all of our questions about the room and surrounding area, and making us feel welcome. The customer service definitely stood out :)

Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very nice hotel right on the lake :). There are wonderful views from the room! We were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom, which is spacious and practical. Hotel staff very nice and friendly! We will definitely be back soon. :)
