Room was nice. Downstairs you can find food and drinks. I wish there was a menu in english thats it. It was pretty easy to find this place, it has a parking place for your car.

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again

The rooms lacks character but the attached restaurant is worth visiting ( But you need to be very patient !). You are very close to Traunsee, go by car and visit the lake and chapel.

Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.

This traditional, family-run hotel offers a uniquely beautiful and very quiet location directly on the eastern shore of Lake Traun, a little outside the pretty town of Gmunden. I know this hotel well. I stay there when returning from motorbike trips to the Alps. A family-run hotel with very good food and comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. You feel the atmosphere of a place managed for years by the Grunberg family. It is a pleasure to return here. Close to the lake and the lifts to the mountains. Like the whole lake area an excellent holiday destination. Recommended for motorcyclists!

Breakfast spread par to none we enjoyed and ever so friendly and helpful staff. The location on the shore of the Traunsee and easy access to the lakes of the Salzkammergut. Would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake and a must visit to Gmunden on one end of the lake with its castles and villas of the nobility’s of now and past. Not to forget a visit to Hallstatt and the summer residence of the Emperor’s of Austria and Hungary in Bad Ischl. Salzburg the birthplace of Mozart with a visit to the castle and the list goes on.
Very professional and friendly staff. Rooms and entire facility was very clean. Excellent location with lake just a thought of the stone away. Facility offers the beach towels for the guests. Many hiking trails with great variety of difficulty around the hotel and Traunsee. There is a boat stop in front of hotel to take a trip on lake or connect with hiking trails in the other side of the lake and visit Gmundent town center. Facility offers excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Really great experience!
Altmünster
We had a very pleasant stay at Altmunster. The apartment is well equipped, clean and has a small balcony overlooking the lake Traunsee. It is in a great location close to majority of attractions that can be reached by car easily. The centre of Altmünster and the lake promenade are at 20min walking dostance ( the return journey is up the hill so it may take a bit more effort). Our host was very nice and waited for us with a couple of cold drinks wich cooled us down after a long drive in the heat ( over 30 degrees celsius)

Famous location of Baadhaus just on Traunsee in very nice small city Traunkirchen. Owner family very friendly and helpful to recommend activities around (like hiking to Feuerkogel or to enjoy skywalk on Grunberg) . Hotel is "green" sustainable energy production. By recommendation of Josef (owner), we travel to Hallstatt via train where train station is just 5min walk. Our room had very nice terrace from which you can look on Traunsee as well to nice chapel up the hill.
Ebensee
We stayed at the Schlafmeile Traunsee as a family and we were pleasantly suprised of the scenic location of the little village Ebensee. The hotel was easy to find with the car and the check-in was also pretty easy. There was no staff at the reception but we could pick up our keys from the counter. The room was comfy and spacious for 3 persons with 2 showers in the room! The breakfast was very nice and everything was available and tasty. The staff was friendly!

Great apartment, huge enough for the whole family. Fully equiped kitchen and beautifull view over the Traunsee. We found the apartment and keys very easy. Comunication with the host was always quick and proactive. Walking distance to the public swimming area. Very good place to explore beauty of Salzkammergut region. We really recommend TraunseeBlick for family holiday or even for the weekend!!

The apartment of Petra and Christian gave us a feeling of true home that we are missing so much. Cosy and comfortable, with lots of attention to small details. Highly recommended. We had everything we needed in the apartment. The best part of it was morning coffee on the balcony with the incredible view. Our son loved swimming in beautiful lake Traunsee and kayaking. This place is marvelous
Nice little hotel near Traunsee. I really liked the room, had a balcony, a little stream running under it, looking over the backyard and hills. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Good breakfast is available for extra. There are 4-5 free parking palce in front of the hotel, or many more in the bigger public parking lot on the other isde of the street.

The apartment is immaculate, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. Its location is ideal, nestled in a tranquil area yet close to the town center and the beautiful Traunsee lake. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Gmunden. It exceeded all my expectations, and I look forward to returning!
Friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, excellent location (fast reach to Traunsee, Grunberg and Gmunden). The hotel lies just next to the lakeside road and has a good view on the lake & mountains nearby. Wifi is free and fast, parking is just in front of the hotel. Recommended!
Very nice, completely new, well equiped new apartment. Location is great. 3 min walk to Traunsee lake. I've been impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the apartment owners. They go above and beyond to ensure that residents feel valued and supported.

The location is stunning by the Traunsee (alpine lake). Great for swimming in warm weather, hiking other times. Very peaceful. The hosts live upstairs, and knew when I was coming, so the door was open with key inside. The hosts are also easy to contact if needed.
I like the location. Traunsee and surroundings are just awesome. Staff was very polite and friendly. Hotel is pet-friendly (18 EUR per pet per night), we traveled with our cat. The bed was quite comfortable. Our room has floor heating - that's cool.

The view in the apartment of the Traunsee area is magnificent. The apartment is very clean and cosy. The kitchenwares and appliances are of tiptop quality. This is the best apartment I have stayed in during my 3 driving-around trip to Austria.

We got the information regarding check-in in advance, the host was nice and answered our questions quickly. The room was very clean and it is spacious, also equipped with a fan. It is right next to Traunsee and close to the city center.

Super friendly hosts. The apartment is equiped with everything needed. Gmunden and the Traunsee is a few minutes, but the house is in the nature.
To stay right on the Traunsee is a wonderful experience. The apartment is spacious and well appointed.
