Staff could not do enough for you, location was beautiful and access and frequency of buses great. Breakfast was the best buffet I’ve ever had and pool and spa area clean and relaxing. Restaurants food was excellent quality.

Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff, wonderful breakfast, comfortable room with private bath, idyllic country views, several types of sauna and an outdoor pool included in the fee, e-bikes available for rent-- all added up to a top notch experience. I e-biked to a lake and explored the surrounding area on 1 day, and e-biked to Salzburg on a different day. There's a conveniently located bus stop for a bus every 30 min (except Sun) if you prefer public transportation. I found the public bus was similar quality to a US excursion bus and safe late at night. There's a free app that is worth downloading.

Salzburg Old Town is amazing, amazing houses and their details. Pay visit to castle, Mozart's birthplace and definitely would recommend to sit and eat at some of their amazing cafe's or restaurants, there's plenty of them. A car park is very close to old town. We only had one day to discover Salzburg, but feel we could've stayed longer. When you in Salzburg, make sure to visit Hallstatt too, the town that is sure to take your breath away! Overall, Austria is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL with these alps.

Meie peamine soov oli näha Mozarti sünnilinna, elukohta. Kindlasti soovitan ära proovida ehtsa Viini šnitsli ja austriast levinud õunastruudli. Imelise mulje jättis Mirabelli lossi kammerkontsert. Soovitan piletid eelnevalt neti teel ära osta, sest saal on väike ja võite lihtsalt ilma jääda imelisest kontserdist ning ilusast atmosfäärist. Väga mõnus ja hubane. Hommikusöök rikkalik. Kesklinn lühikese ilusa jalutuskäigu kaugusel (5-10 min). Salzburgi pearaudteejaam 5 min jalutuskäigu kaugusel - tulime kahe väikelapse ja kohvritega raudteejaamast jalgsi hotelli. Linnamüra (sh lähedal asuvat raudteed ja ronge) polnud tuppa kuulda. 5 min jalutuskäigu kaugusel ka ülitoreda Fräulein Maria's Bicycle Tours (sobilik ka väikelastega peredele) alguspunkt. Hotelli esimesel korrusel restoran, kuhu on soovitav õhtusöögiks laud ette broneerida.
Ilus puhas väikehotell Salzburgi äärelinnas, kust on väga hea pääes ühistranspordiga Salzburgi. Hästi lahke personal ja rikkalik hommikusöök. Kuna sisseregistreerimisel oli restoranis pidulik sündmus, anti meile tuba hotelli kaugemasse otsa, et pidulised meid ei segaks. Vaade mägedele.

The location was perfect! Right on the water, high walkability to the surrounding little town, excellent access to the lake, in the path of the running/walking/bike trails. Feels secluded due to the large size of the building and orientation of rooms to the rest of the building. The room was so lovely, we loved the design details and super spacious closet.
This hotel is like a dream. Room was beautiful with stunning views. Breakfast will never be topped in my LIFE. Lovely pool, outdoor lake and jacuzzi were great fun. Amazing 4 course supper. Very lovely staff, plenty of towels. So close to the Christmas Market, and you can hear the church clock chiming.

All the spa facilities are great. The panorama spa which is only for hotel guests is amazing, with breathtaking view. The sauna sessions which are in every hour were great, the sauna guy was also very funny. The view from everywhere (room, spa, restaurant, bar) is amazing, you can see the beautiful mountains (if there is no cloud), basically you don't need to go anywhere to enjoy this amazing view. The food selection for breakfast and dinner is huge. There are much more healthy options than other hotels I've been before. There was every day a different theme (Asian, Italian, seafood etc.) that made the dining more interesting. One of the waiters called Marek from Slovakia was super friendly and polite.
