Set against the background of the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Hotel Bergkristall is located at 1,200 metres above sea level in the centre of Mallnitz. The hotel was exceptionally well designed. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was extremely good traditional Austrian. Beautiful views of the mountains. They were very welcoming when we arrived very late.

Set in Mallnitz, 30 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Hotel Pension Oswald offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Very nice and helpful hotel owner. Tasty food, large portions. Meals served very quickly. Clean rooms, (cleaned every day). Good location - you can get to the ski resort in Bad Gastein by train (which also transports cars) in 20 minutes. We recommend it, we will gladly come back.

Hotel Gletschermühle features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Flattach. This 3-star hotel offers a range of water sports facilities. The owners and their staff were super nice and helpful. The room was spacious with roller window shades so you could have total dark :) great view from the balcony. Sporthotel Mölltal is located in the centre of Flattach and offers a spa area with sauna, infrared cabin, fitness room, steam bath and a small indoor pool. The Hotel is located very conveniently, just on the right side of the main street in Kleindorf (direction Lienz). There is a very spacious car park in front of it and a bus stop at the southern entrance to the Hotel, just on the south-western corner of the building, so its location simply could not be better for those who arrive here in order to ski on the Mölltal Glacier. Please do not repeat my mistake and do not wait for the glacier shuttle bus at the bus stop on the main street in Kleindorf, also nearby the Hotel, as the skibus does not stop there and different lines operate there. Yes, this bus will take you directly to the lower station of the glacier express. The Hotel is quite large, features over 40 rooms of different type and size on four floors, even an apartment, a small swimming pool, a sauna and a fitness center. The room in which I lived (208) was very spacious (a double room for single use), clean, quiet, warm, had a clean bathroom and a big balcony with a mountain view. The hotel staff was very nice, friendly, professional, dedicated and helpful, especially Mr. Patryk who speaks a range of languages fluently: Slovakian, Polish, German and English. A buffet style breakfast definitely gives you enough energy for a day full of adventures and three-course dinners are delicious, diversified and feature the local cousine. The WiFi is stable and its signal strong, no matter in which part of the Hotel you use it. There is a ski gears storage room in the building opposite the Hotel - you can dry your skis and ski boots there. Even though the swimming pool is quite small, you can have it just for yourself if you arrive in a period when not many guests stay at the Hotel. My five-night stay at Sporthotel Mölltal was very enjoyable and definitely exceed my expectations, therefore I do recommend it to anyone who is thinking about skiing on the Mölltal Glacier or in the Ankogel-Mallnitz ski resort. It was a very good idea to stay there during my ski holiday.

Haus Rohskopf features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Mallnitz. A very nice and charming old place. It really has a cosy feeling to it, unlike some newly built places. If you don't mind place not being super-fancy and offering tons of stuff, this will be great for you. The host is most pleasant and breakfast was nice.

Eggerhof has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Mallnitz. The accommodation offers a ski pass sales point and ski storage space, as well as a bar and a spa and wellness centre. There is great sauna in the hotel.

Situated in Mallnitz, 33 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Hotel Hubertus features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Autentiškai austriška, labai jaukus šeimyninis viešbutis, kur šeimininkai asmeniškai aptarnauja. Ypač geras pasirinkimas, kai maitinimas įskaičiuotas - niekuo rūpintis nereikia, ragauji vietinio maisto. Labai gera vieta POILSIUI. Vieta tarp kalnų, netoli keletas pasikėlimų į kalnus. Pats miestelis šalia irgi jaukus, kaip tik pataikėm į šventę, buvo smagu. Įskaičiuotas Karnten-CARD - nemokamai daug objektų - keltuvai, kriokliai, muziejai ir t.t.
