Completely extended in 2020 and located in the centre of Großarl in the Ski Amadé region, Berg-Leben features a large, top-floor spa area. The cable car is just a short walk away. Very friendly and helpful personell. We travelled as a family with our 5 year old son. We went there for hicking and I got from the reception the best recommendation on where to go. The hotel is clean, modern, quiet, with a personal touch in every room. The breakfast had everything we wanted and a cozy atmosphere. Also the restaurant in the evening was a pleasure. It is situatued right in the center of Großarl, which makes it very easy to either go for a hike right there or take the bus. I would come back again, any season.

The hotel was great! Very friendly staff and owners, location very nearby Grossarl and ski lifts. Breakfast and evening meals were good, more than sufficient and for the children separate menu's were available. Our family room was clean, spacious had a perfect layout with a small separate mezzanine where the children slept. Last but not least, there was an issue with our stay dates and they kindly asked us to arrive and leave a day earlier. We accepted this and as a thank you we received a voucher to spend in the hotel bar. We recommend staying there, we will come again if we go back to Grossarl. Well done Hotel Schiederhof!

Of course, you got bathrobe, towels etc. Good breakfast and dinner (we took half board). Clean and spacious room with balcony. Friendly staff. Parking.
