Located 200 metres from Libertador Avenue area and 500 metres from the Laguna Nimes Reserve, MadreTierra Patagonia is set in a charming Patagonian building. The stay started with a wonderful check in process- we were given a welcome drink and chatted about recommendations for the area. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice en suite- we slept well in a comfortable bed. In the morning they again helped us with recommendations and drove us to the airport for a small fee.

Boasting spa facilities and mountain views from every room, Destino Sur Hotel & Spa de Montaña is only 500 metres from Los Glaciares National Park. Guests can exercise in the gym and book a massage. This is probably the nicest hotel in El Chalten. It's in a perfect location for walking around and enjoying the town, and provides a luxury experience that a lot of other hotels in the area don't offer. The property itself is beautiful and has all of the amenities you could need. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever back in El Chalten I would make it a point to stay here.

The staff was extremely helpful. The lobby was furnitured for the guests who are waiting for the tourist-buses. The garden party for the guests was not only intimate but it makes the guest friend. The breakfast was so rich, like in a baronial castle. They have their own beer !
