The staff was exceptionally hospitable. The rooms are large, very clean, and comfortable. I also tried the spa, and that was also a wonderful experience. What tops it all of so perfectly was the restaurant- excellent and delicious. We sat for all the breakfast, lunch and dinner services as it was just too good to miss.

Situated in Auroville, Portal has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. An amazing, magical, forest-like experience. Highly recommended if you love nature. This place is for loving mindful people who want to break free from the matrix of modern society and have oneness with nature. Very peaceful stay. The hut stay in particular creates a wonderful atmosphere. (something that you must experience). The owner of this property is incredibly polite and welcoming. In addition, the owner grows fruits and vegetables on his property and serving them to visitors staying here (this is incredibly amazing). My overall experience here was so good and if anyone wants to visit this place, go with an open mind. You won't want to leave!
