Narsing Village Resort is a very remote hill resort which has some exquisite views of mountains including Mt. Kanchenjunga. The staff are so, so good and enhanced our liking for the property. The food was amazing, the property clean and the staff were extremely cordial.

The entire place is a labor of love by Mr. and Mrs. Chetan. Make sure to leisurely explore the property and discover its unique blossoms and plants. They have an adorable dog named Sweetie; don't miss the chance to pet her while you enjoy a cappuccino prepared by the cafe's skilled barista(Captain as they call him). Every staff member, including the twin boys and both sweet girls at the cafe, excels in their roles. For those seeking the serenity of Sikkim, embracing slow travel, or looking to work from Gangtok(Wifi speed is awesome and did work from there for the whole week) , this place is exceptional. We shall Visit again next year :-)

I was lucky enough to visit the stay on Diwali. I got to witness their local festival and culture and they all were very welcoming and involving. The food was great, people were great. Special thanks to Nishal for picking me up, Rubina for the tasty food, and Anita for the amazing special Chhaang. And also Naresh and Rupa for being the sweetest host.

Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

Shanol Residency er staðsett í Gangtok, 3 km frá Namgyal Institute of Tibetology og býður upp á gistirými með veitingastað, ókeypis einkabílastæði og bar. Wonderful homestay/residency. Run by a lovely family who went above and beyond to accommodate me. I had to go trekking for a few days and they were kind enough to keep a bag for me and then allow me to come back and say in the same room I had left. Its also the cleanest place I have stayed in in India by a mile - everything felt modern and updated. Food is great too. Would happily come back again to stay :)

I had a very good experience during my stay. The host was amazing—very friendly and accommodating, which made me feel right at home. The balcony view was stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The room was clean and well-maintained, further enhancing my comfort. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere and great service!

The best part of the stay is it feels like home. The owner Mr Tashi is a wonderful man. Karma was a great help. He made my stay comfortable. The food was great. Go with your family or friends. You will love it :) 10/10
