The caravan was so well equipped - my sister and I felt like we were staying in a family home rather than just a holiday home. Great location for the beach and a short drive to restaurants shops. Communication with Janice our host was excellent and access couldn't be simpler. Janice left us fresh milk and treats - so welcome after a longish drive. The bonus for us - Pet friendly. We hope to return again - there is so much to see and do in the area. It is possible to buy a pass to use the resort facilities - although we did not.

Boasting accommodation with a heated pool, Jock's Place is situated in Whitley Bay. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The caravan was easy to find, lovely little place, clean tidy, and will consider staying again.

The Clifton, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in South Shields, less than 1 km from Sandhaven Beach, 11 km from Stadium of Light, as well as 16 km from Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. Wonderful welcoming little family hotel - the intro materials when I got to my room explained who every character was. Lovely breakfast downstairs in the cafe and only a few mins walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

Set in a residential street, this large Victorian house is only a 2-minute walk to South Shields town centre, parks and beaches. It has nicely decorated bedrooms and free parking. Overall great service. Quiet, clean and enjoyed staying at Kingmee
