The castle of Trigance is located in the village Trigance in the heart of the gorges of the Verdon. The chateau is located in an extraordinary setting, high above the River valley and village below. The views from the upper terrace are unbelievable. I went up in the night, and could see an expanse of stars. Easy to imagine manning the watch tower several hundred years ago. Room 5 was so cool. With a curved rock wall from the medieval fortress and period-appropriate furnishings, another time-traveling experience. An amazing place.
