The apartment was excellent, very clean with quality kitchen utilities; great, spaceous bathroom, sauna with different settings, as well as an excellent mattress for a restful sleep after a day's exploration of the island. The owner was very friendly, making us feel really welcome. She handed us the key cards at arrival (additional to the option of using an app) and gave us information about guest cards for the island (checked at the entrance of some beaches), and additional facilities like a gym (we unfortunately couldn't use because our stay was not long enough).

Very good facilities, location, friendly staff. Early check-in was available. The breakfast was really good. Room was spacious with a wonderful balcony to sit on and observe the town.

Hotel Sylter Zollhaus is located in Westerland in the Sylt Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is featured and private parking is available on site. Ideally located between train station and city centre / main shopping road and the sea. The important places of Westerland are within walking distance. There are bakeries and nice restaurants nearby. Nicely equipped rooms. Included breakfast at a café in midtown worked well (bonus: they have extended hours there). Would book this place again.

Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with a view of the sea was excellent, breakfast as well. Easy to park the car.
