The owner was very friendly, making us feel really welcome. She handed us the key cards at arrival (additional to the option of using an app) and gave us information about guest cards for the island (checked at the entrance of some beaches), and additional facilities like a gym (we unfortunately couldn't use because our stay was not long enough).

The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. I stayed there with my extended family and we all agreed that the breakfast was likely the best we ever had. Fresh high quality food prepared extremely well. The sauna and steam room facilities were relaxing, private and just beautiful. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach. Every staff member goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Located in the most southern row of houses in Westerland, Haus Elvi Fuchs is an ideal base for visiting the beach, jogging, Nordic walking, hiking and horse riding. Horse riding stables are situated nearby. Dogs are also welcome at the apartments on request. We did our own breakfast. The location was good for us as we were going south. I can recommend this accommodation.
