Location and facilities. We are a volleyball team and wanted a large room where girls could stay together. Also large living area and wrap around deck for leisure time.
Girls were comfortable here and staff had plenty room too. Full kitchen facilities and dining area were ample.
Easy check in and check out process. Jade and her team left us an aloha message with a nice box of chocolates.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is very peaceful. It had a wonderful enclosed patio as well as three very nice bedrooms and two full baths. Kitchen was nice as well. It was close to Hilo.

The location and views were excellent. It's a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a beer in the late afternoon. From Hilltop we were a few minutes walk (downhill) to central Hilo and in under an hour drive to the Mauna Kea observatory, Waipi'o, Kalapan and Volcanoes National Park. The house was very clean and there was option for a daily room service. The resident cat was a wonderful host and one who, I like to think, became a good friend.
Old hotel, no air conditioner but fans.Concrete block walls make quiet rooms, clean and comfortable. Like the tile floors over normal disgusting carpets. Great location and the best hotel deal in town.
This is a very unique place to stay and it’s in a great location. It’s charming and earthy. There are a few cats and dogs running around. The cats are super friendly. One claimed me while I was longing on the deck. Curled up in my lap, purred and fell asleep. My kids loved playing with them. The accommodations are basic but suited our needs. We had an outdoor shower which was fun. Staff is super friendly and we had a nice breakfast.
The house is located in Hilo near the Rainbow Fall. When my wife and I stayed in the house, from shoes and cars outside I knew there must be others in the house, but there was no sound at all - very quiet. The house is very clean too. The carpet looked like just shampooed and everywhere is clean.
