my stay at elephant and four wise men really made my Andaman trip amazing. I’m a backpacking foreigner who is used to the simple times of years ago…way before the new expensive resorts popped up. E&4WM was so perfect: peaceful and simple accommodations hosted by a chill guy Shivankar who is tapped in to creating a great vibe….not to mention an amazing cook! I ate every meal from his kitchen. every dish and every coffee made with care and from ingredients grown at his farm. an interesting and nice collection of travelers fill the place for nice conversations.
beach front adjacent to this place was dynamically different based on the tides. a wonderful solitude watching the sunset and listening to the various bird species settling in for the night.

Most foreigners were there, We booked 2 rooms and both rooms were very small, The location was not good. It was more than 3km from the jetty and the rooms were not up to my expectations.. A lot of bugs 🪲 and centipedes used to get on my bed and bathroom..No AC was there.

This place exceeded all my expectations. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like a friend. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully serene—a real oasis. If you’re a dog lover, there’s an added bonus that makes the experience even warmer. Traveling solo and feeling quite unwell, I was incredibly grateful for the restaurant’s attentiveness; they catered to my needs, even during late hours. Truly outstanding service.
Also recommended for families travelling with toddlers are the restaurant will customise the preparations. It's a road across from the beach and near all the happening spots of Havelock.

I stayed here with my son for 4 nights and felt that we were so well looked after by Kishore ( staff) and the owners Ratan and his wife and great cook Bibha. They were so genuinely friendly, helpful and easy going. The location was very peaceful and the hotel very clean and comfortable.
I had chosen because of the location and close proximity to Sitapur Beach.

During night don't miss the star studed sky. I was lucky to see a shooting star even.

Very beautiful resort, staff was always helpful. 2 times we've had bugs in our room, which I guess is normal, since the resort is in the middle of nature, but as always the staff was immediately there to help us with that.

There are many things to like about this accommodation. The first is cost. In an otherwise expensive Neil island, this accommodation gives a fantastic price to performance ratio. It is super affordable. It provides excellent food service. The communication with the owner and his family is pretty smooth and transparent. They can arrange tour service at very competitive rate. The location is a little far from the beach but it is walkable. The room interior is okay compared to what we are paying. The washroom is clean.
