Our stay at Afoura Houses in Santorini was nothing short of fantastic. While the location is a bit hillside, requiring a short hike to reach, the effort is absolutely worth it. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by a place that feels like it was plucked straight from Pinterest—beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated.
The host was incredibly helpful, assisting us with everything we needed during our stay. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience, making us feel right at home.
We opted for the sea view room on the top floor, and it was a decision we didn’t regret. The view was simply breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The room was equipped with AC, which was a blessing during the hot weather, ensuring a comfortable stay at all times.
One of the highlights was the private rooftop. It’s spacious, entirely yours to enjoy, and offers an ideal spot to soak in the surroundings. Whether it’s for a morning coffee or an evening under the stars, the rooftop adds an extra layer of charm to the stay.
We enjoyed our time at Afoura Houses so much that we’ve already decided this will be our go-to place for our next visit to Santorini. Highly recommended!

This place is an absolute dream. The staff are so attentive & friendly. They were ready to help us with anything we requested & flexible to our schedules for breakfast & cleaning each day. Everything was perfect. We explored the whole island & can say this place has the best view & is so quiet. It's a very easy & short 14 min to Fira & only 10 min to the airport. I would literally have my wedding here if I could go back in time!

The location was perfect for our plan since we wanted to start our vacation at the winery nearby. The sunset every night was wonderful, away from the crazy crowds at Oia. The apartment is closed to markets, cafes, restaurants, and gas stations, basically everything you'd need. You can walk to some of them but we had a car since we wanted to drive around the island. The apartment is spacious - the beds were comfortable, and the interior and exterior were nicely decorated. The whole complex is not finished yet as we saw some stones and construction materials and whatnot. It's already beautiful right now, so what more when the owner is finished. We will definitely stay again. We booked it for good value compared to other accommodations in the area. The owner and cleaner are friendly and helped us be more comfortable during our stay. Highly recommend this apartment! Amazing apartment for the affordable price. Located in Pyrgos, 15-min drive from the Thira port, with different cafes, restaurants and shops near by. Villa is totally new and offers all the facilities you'll need for short or long term stay. Beautiful bedrooms, comfortable shower room with, kitchen with all needed cutlery and a jacuzzi with sunbeds on the rooftop. Interior is very modern and cozy. Rigas and Sophia were really kind and helpful with any issues. Service 10/10!

Pyrgos is a quiet village away from mass-tourism (at least end of September) and located close to several nice beaches but you'll need a vehicle (quad,...) to get around places.
Lovely facility, completely new with tasteful interior, amazing room, super attentive and competent staff and owners. The views are spectacular, the food is great and the location is really good.
Location excellent for what we wanted as we needed 2 nights at the start of our holiday, and 1 night at the end. Staff were very helpful with transfers from airport and to the port, and it was lovely to have a pool. Easy to walk to Pyrgos in 15 mins if you take care on the road (and use a short cut by the petrol station en-route). Bus stop outside the hotel for non-express buses, including from the port itself.
Super friendly and helpful host who checked me in, checked up on how things were going and will booking any trip or tour you want. Offered daily cleaning and topped up cake, juice, jams, tea/coffee etc daily. Offered loads of information about the island, what to do and see and which restaurants to visit. Location was really handy for getting about the island (with a car).
House was spacious with a big terrace and there were two cute old dogs living on the property.
Ilia's and Tanya were the best hosts. They could not have been more friendly and helpful.
The cave Studio is beautiful, it was very clean with a very comfortable bed. It was slightly chilly but that was mostly the fault of the weather!! We got a little basket of fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit and eggs for breakfast, all local produce I think, lovely!
Tanya gave us some great advice for places to visit and restaurants for dinner. We had a fabulous stay made all the better by the friendly resident cat!!
