Nice older house with a big room, with chairs, comfortable bed, full sized bath, great breakfast, convenient electric outlets. This was a "last minute" booking, and offered a much better room at a much better price, than anything available in Pitlochry. Hosts were very nice and welcoming. We only styed one night but it was very enjoyable. Well signposted and easy to find.

Eight things to mention. Lovely building, beautifully renovated, maintaining the character of 'traditional' Scotland. A log burning fire in the lounge and comfortable seating. A spacious sumptuous bedroom and lovely en suite shower room. The food was delicious. We ate dinner and a cooked breakfast. The Chef is gifted in our opinion. Staff were all welcoming. Darren kindly remembered my husband's wish to try a 'Dark and Stormy' - a complimentary drink - and mdh enjoyed it very much.

Dinner and breakfast were good. Spa was good, especially outdoor hot-tubs. Front of house staff were good.
Offering a variety of animal-ready amenities, these properties promise a great stay for pets and people. Services can include sitting services, specialized bedding, and dog-walking. Some hotels even offer fun perks like a gourmet room service menu for pets, as well as catnip and scratching posts.
Lovely staff who were so helpful and the location was stunning. The property is dog friendly and we didn’t feel restricted at all as the staff did all they could to accommodate our pooches during mealtimes.
Beautiful hotel room and very comfy bed, quiet location. Very dog friendly, there was a bowl, treats and poo bags for the dog in the room and a nice selection of tea and coffee for us. Food was really nice.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location and very cosy vibes. We arrived early and relaxed by the fire in the homely, comfortable reception area. Breakfast was delicious and the room was extremely comfortable and clean with excellent facilities. Although we didn't eat dinner there, we heard it was delicious and, although we didn't have our own dog, it was great to see the hotel was dog friendly. We took a lovely stroll around the grounds and golf course.
Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed in the dinning area, however the staff was very helpful and made it no problemen to set up a table in the lounge.
Incredible setting. List of walks from the hotel on the website. Great veggie options in the restaurant. Bar area with fireplace is so cosy. Dog friendly and we had a water bowl, treats and poo bags left in the room for us! Cheap considering it's a castle in its own estate!
Fantastic location well worth the trip up there. Tim and Hellen, the hosts, are really nice folk. I wish them all the best with their business.
Motorcycle and dog friendly perfect.
Amazing location for hillwalking.
Actually dog friendly- allow dogs everywhere except dining room and provide bowls/ mats/ poo bags in room.
Food for dinner and breakfast was lovely with lots of scottish produce on offer.
Decor is traditional and rooms are unique. Our room had a lovely big bath.
Location superb. Food excellent. Service excellent., all staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.
Hotel was very dog friendly, and as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, they set up a table for us in an adjoining room. We felt spoiled.
Brilliant location. Beautiful scenery close by. Plenty of safe spaces to walk the dog and very dog friendly hotel.
The food was of a good standard and fairly priced. Staff were friendly and helpful.
