This was our second stay at Strathardle Lodge and just like the last time the stay was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The warm welcome by the hosts Gosia & Chris, the beautiful views from the room to the stunning location within Perthshire, everything is always something to look forward to. It's such a beautiful setting to spend time and explore the surrounding areas. The breakfast is incredible and consistently fantastic, definitely a highlight of any visit and prepares you perfectly for the day ahead. We are already thinking about when to plan our next trip haha! The shower in our room was recently refurbished and as a note to finish, is the best rain head shower I've used. As always there is nothing but praise and thanks for our warm welcome and fantastic stay.

This was my first Youth Hostel and I travelled with my mum (80) my son (10) and Our dog. It was so friendly and welcoming and the view very early am from the picnic bench outside was fantastic. I felt really welcome, so impressed by the women running it. Loved that there was help yourself tea and coffee. I will book again in the future.

Lovely staff who were so helpful and the location was stunning. The property is dog friendly and we didn’t feel restricted at all as the staff did all they could to accommodate our pooches during mealtimes.
Beautiful hotel room and very comfy bed, quiet location. Very dog friendly, there was a bowl, treats and poo bags for the dog in the room and a nice selection of tea and coffee for us. Food was really nice.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location and very cosy vibes. We arrived early and relaxed by the fire in the homely, comfortable reception area. Breakfast was delicious and the room was extremely comfortable and clean with excellent facilities. Although we didn't eat dinner there, we heard it was delicious and, although we didn't have our own dog, it was great to see the hotel was dog friendly. We took a lovely stroll around the grounds and golf course.
Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed in the dinning area, however the staff was very helpful and made it no problemen to set up a table in the lounge.
Incredible setting. List of walks from the hotel on the website. Great veggie options in the restaurant. Bar area with fireplace is so cosy. Dog friendly and we had a water bowl, treats and poo bags left in the room for us! Cheap considering it's a castle in its own estate!
Fantastic location well worth the trip up there. Tim and Hellen, the hosts, are really nice folk. I wish them all the best with their business.
Motorcycle and dog friendly perfect.
Amazing location for hillwalking.
Actually dog friendly- allow dogs everywhere except dining room and provide bowls/ mats/ poo bags in room.
Food for dinner and breakfast was lovely with lots of scottish produce on offer.
Decor is traditional and rooms are unique. Our room had a lovely big bath.
Location superb. Food excellent. Service excellent., all staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.
Hotel was very dog friendly, and as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, they set up a table for us in an adjoining room. We felt spoiled.
Brilliant location. Beautiful scenery close by. Plenty of safe spaces to walk the dog and very dog friendly hotel.
The food was of a good standard and fairly priced. Staff were friendly and helpful.
