Nice and clean place. Very good location for a week or more vacation. Restaurants are grate, good food and very good wine. Not expensive, good quality service, very easy to travel to Madrid by train / to the airoport by taxi. The history of the town is amazing. Many places that should be on the list for vising while you there.

The pool area was beautiful, though we did not have time to use the facilities. The entrance was nicely decorated with beautiful art. It was clean and comfortable.

The description for the location said city center- It was not even in Madrid. It was a 58 euros taxi ride from the Atochi train station. We asked for hotels with breakfast and we were charged q0eutos pp per day. This inexpensive hotel ended up being VER EXPENSIVE. First 3 of our 6 days they would not allow my sons guide dog for the deaf in the dining room for breakfast but would allow her in for dinner

Breakfast was good. Location was not really suitable as we had our dog with us and the restaurant in the hotel was closed, no nearby restaurants for eating with a dog.
Staff initially had a ‘ I don’t know attitude’ when asked about restaurants that will accept dogs but eventually they did some research and discovered only 1 restaurant in Alcala that would accept!
Luckily a nearby Aldi n El Campo so we were able to buy some cold food to bring back to our room.
The most important aspect is that it is dog-friendly and it certainly is! Although, quite rightly, not allowed in the dining area, we were allowed to take our breakfast into the reception seating area so that we could stay with our dog.
The bed is huge with almost room enough to spread out sideways. The shower facilities are excellent.
The TV is well placed in the centre of the wall facing the bed.
Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly (especially the young guy with glasses, who went above and beyond)
