Had everything you need for breakfast- great variety and selection. Dinner and lunch were also wonderful. Plenty of high quality restaurants with a lot of cuisine options. the views, smells and sound of cow bells added to the whole experience. Plenty of hiking right out the door. This was above and beyond anything experienced before.

What an amazing hotel! It was in a beautiful location on the river and in a beautiful part of Luzern. Our room was very large with amazing views of the river with large beautiful windows to enjoy the view and also had a very nice bathroom. The staff was also so friendly and gave us great advice about the restaurants and the trips we could take while we were there. It was so nice to be able to buy the tickets right at the hotel for our trip to Mt. Pilatus.

We were so happy with our choice to stay in at Hotel Vitznauerhof on the waterfront of Lake Luzern. The property and the room were spectacular. We did not know what to expect since we had never stayed on Luzern. The balcony view of the lake was breathtaking and just perfect. The staff was really great from check in to check out. We had options for activities such as boat rides and Spa. The hotel is not only in a great waterfront location, but a two minute walk to the ferry dock, which services most of the waterfront towns from Vitznau to Lucern and the main train station at Lake Luzern. The restaurant was also very good!
