Excellent location, though access can be a bit challenging. However, the free parking is a nice perk! The staff is friendly, but it would be helpful to have more information available in English beforehand. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, and during our stay in mid-August, it was extremely hot. The room was clean, though the beds were not particularly comfortable.

The house was amazing! So beautifully organized, we had everything we needed for a nice short stay. The location is wonderful. You can see the entire village and river from the top garden.

This hotel has it all! It is beautiful,historic,clean, perfectly located in the lovely Dürnstein, the pool and gardens are amazing and peaceful and most of all: every single member of the staff is truly wonderful, helpful, friendly and I cannot say enough good things about them all. Their wine cellar has some great whites from the Wachau and the restaurant with the terrace overlooking the Danube is fantastic!
This is a very nice and charming hotel (a castle) with superb views to the Wachau valley and certainly located in the best spot to explore the area. The breakfast was superb and the dinner very good. Staff was generally attentive.
The location was amazing. The loft area was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage. Laundry in the apartment was a welcome bonus. Very beautifully decorated with fascinating touches on the lighting!
Gästezimmer Rolea was a great place to stay with a very welcoming family, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The house is in a great location on the edge of Durnstein and very walkable to the attractions in town. Breakfast was extensive (particularly for a smaller B&B), and the place is very dog friendly.
