Everything, was a really cosy room, staff were so helpful and location was perfect! And the view from your room is kind of just incredible!

Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free. Lovely hosts, cozy, well designed and well appointed room. Great location for shuttle to Tongariro Alpine Crossing, about 15-20 minutes and very close to Foursquare supermarket and hike equipment rental centre. Overall very, very satisfied!

Alpine Motel offers warm and comfortable accommodation in central Ohakune. Outstanding new high speed wifi access in every unit. The motel features a Spa Pool, FREE high speed WIFI and SKY TV. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants.

Tongariro Boutique B&B is located in Tongariro National Park. Guests at the property can enjoy views of the national park from the rooms and access to a Jacuzzi and a large hot pool, replenished with... The room was very comfortable, but could have used a rug or mat at the inside of the doorway to help keep the muck from our shoes coming into the room (it was so rainy while we were there, we weren’t comfortable leaving them outside). Really appreciated the drying room. If we come back to the park, we would probably try to stay here again.

Located just a 30-minute drive from Turoa Ski Area, Ossies Motels and Chalets offers a tranquil retreat. It features a sauna and BBQ facilities. The friendly hosts, John & Sue, were amazing with help and suggestions and offering alternative activities. The free laundry was a blessing. We were located close to town, and to several walks and scenic drives. The map provided of the local area was very helpful.

The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge. due to rain (traveling by motorcycle) and a failed attempt at the river canoe trip, I ended up staying at the Hobbit for way longer than anticipated, but my stay was fantastic and comfortable! Michelle who runs the lodge is a wonderful person and puts alot of effort in to keeping the lodge clean and comfy for guests! I would def recommend staying here if you are coming through Ohakune!

Nestled in the picturesque mountain town of Ohakune, at the foot of Mt Ruapehu, Ruapehu Mountain Motel and Lodge offers travelers accommodation in a variety of room types. How tidy and cosy it was! Owners were also a pleasure to deal with too!
