Just 200 metres from Fitzroy Beach and the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, Beach Street Motel Apartments offer modern apartment-style accommodation with a flat-screen TV. Spotless apartment, seperate double bedroom, very warm welcome from reception - nice to be shown into room and facilities explained, gave me time to ask questions. Parking right outside room. Very plush carpet, none of that industrial quality so often used in motels, I could actually sink my toes into it. Good quality linens clothes hanging rail, iron and ironing board and hair drier, kitchen well equipped.

Easy to book and the motel manager made it a great experience. I liked the welcome book in the room with local attractions and included menus from nearby eateries.

Location was brilliant. Staff friendly and helpful. Roomy motel with all facilities I needed. Super-clean. Loved staying there.

Auto Lodge New Plymouth offers a restaurant, bar, heated pool and hot tub, just 5 minutes’ walk from Fitzroy Beach. The room was excellent - clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was very good, better than many other places I've stayed in. The location was fantastic - right in New Plymouth and close to everything.
