I booked this place last minute, and it exceeded my expectations. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Loved the bath, and was able to prepare a simple meal in the kitchenette. Issie at reception is LOVELY. Kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was exhausted when I arrived, so greatly appreciated her kindness!

Catlins Area Motel features a garden and barbecue facilities in Owaka. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. One of my favorite stays. The place is bright, light and inviting. Everything is new. Very spacious unit. Kitchen is well equipped, even a dishwasher! Comfy bed. Would definitely come back!

Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s... personal attention, I forgot my walking stick and they sent it to me. They advised us how to join a sailing race at the lake and good restaurants to dine. We had a very good time

Located on 10 acres of gardens, Golfcourse Road Chalets and Lodge with lovely lake, mountain or golf course views. It was peaceful and private. You can't see herself and can't hear the traffic. 20 min walk to the lake and town.
