Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Great place, friendly staff. We had lots of space in our unit. Lots of area for children to play outside and even swings! Not far from the lake, we walked there.

Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. The view was amazing, although the property was fully booked I still found a parking space. Highly recommend the walk to the city by going down the Suburb street and then going around the lake and through Queenstown gardens.

The layout of the property was perfect for us. Although we prefer a shower, the shower over bath was fine and if we had children we'd be very happy to see the bath. It was easy to prepare a meal in the kitchen. The sofa was very comfortable. The gardens were a credit to the manager, Christine. Christine was friendly and helpful.

Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Beautiful, comfortable and perfectly clean separate house with a lovely yard right on a little lake. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and clothes line, a bbq and bikes to borrow. Everything you need for a perfect escape!
