A good quiet location less than 10 minutes from the town centre. lovely efurbished accommodation, very clean with a modern bathroom and everything we required for one night. The bed was very comfortable, parking was good outside the door with a small private terrace at the back overlooking a field with Alpaca's in. Some attractions were very close by. We would certainly stay here for a night or two if we came to Rotorua again.

the motel was close to the Howard Morrison Centre where we came for an event the people running the motel were extremely nice and made allowance for us arriving late after our event I loved the original paintings on the walls
I loved the welcoming feeling of birchwood motel it was easily located in rotorua 10mins from main shopping center. Very friendly staff, the place was clean and beautiful and warm in the winter. The hot tub spa was just what was needed after traveling from Auckland an amazing way to relax after the long journey.
Clean, room is so spacious, good location, easy to park, everything is up to standard. Easy communication. Check in and out of the motel is a streamline process through the counter.

I had a great two-night stay at this motel. It was really wonderful, especially the spa with a large hot tub, and the TV with YouTube and Netflix. The staff was very kind and friendly. She introduced me to the nearby attractions, and since I was alone and didn’t rent a car, she even exchanged some small changes for me to take the bus. I participated in activities at the Maori Cultural Village, and they picked me up directly from the motel. It was a wonderful holiday, and I had a great two-night stay.
Location of the hotel / motel was great.
I simply needed a room for one night during my trip by car in New Zealand. The location was very good, very central, there was free parking on the premises. The room was what one would expect from a motel and very good value for the money.
Clean. Awesome staff let us in early. First motel I’ve been to that topped up coffee and sugar. Shower awesome and hot. Bed comfortable as. Warm room, no need for extra blanket. Free parking right outside.
Had own single bed as no bunk beds in dorm room. good central location and good kitchen facilities. parking for 6 cars available and free parking on the road after 6 or 7pm until 9am the next day. good value for money given the location.
Polite staff, responsive to our requests. Free parking (although out on the road as the car park was full). Good location. Bathroom was clean. Beds were comfortable. It was quiet. Overall positive.
