The woman in the front office (I believe she is the owner) was super nice and helpful and the room was immaculate, which is my #1 priority, and the bed very comfortable. Looks like they just refurbished the bathroom. Small refrigerator and coffee available in the office lobby in the morning. None in the room. My room was in the front building, closest to the main road, and the noise from the traffic was a drawback. Try to request a room in the rear building. My stay was off-season so the pool was closed and I can't comment on that.

Great location, close to man attractions and restaurants. Room was clean and updated. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even when I locked my hotel key in the room one night. Will definitely stay again!

I had a great time in my cozy cabin. Once the heat got going to the cabin was perfectly warm and the bed perfectly comfortable. It was easy access and parking and a great view of the lake. It was winter and snowy so it was beautiful. Staff was very helpful and I bought a lot of chrismass presents from the stuff they had in the check in area.

The location and view were exceptional! There was no one in the office, but someone was accessible via text. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge in the room, and ice, a microwave and a Keurig coffee machine were available outside the room. There was no maid service offered, emptied our own trash and made the bed. Plenty of hot water and a great shower. No breakfast.
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
A classic, perfectly maintained motel. Friends and I visited for 2 nights to attend a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion, which was a 6 minute drive away! The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful. Rooms were spotless. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return. Thank you!

The location was great! It was very close to the cruise ship. I did like the idea of getting the keys from the locker and checking out was very easy, just dropped the keys in the mailbox. The motel is old, but the room was clean. It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. They also had a coffee maker that my friend used.

Able to be seated at Lago resaurant in Meredith on Tuesday evening within one hour without reservation. Had nice motel type king room; nearby cottages appeared to be similarly nice with preferable views and outdoors seating. Perhaps best of available for affordable short notice reservation near NH lakes for two nights in early August
Cleanliness is my top priority when booking a hotel. We found our room very clean. We usually stay with the Hilton chain, so I was a little hesitant to stay at this motel. All the reviews said the rooms were clean, and they were correct!
The location and parking were good. They had a nice pool and a hot tub we enjoyed. The grounds were beautiful to look at with all the pretty flowers and shrubs. The owner was pleasant and displayed pride in his motel.
