Silver Sands, hotel in Garibaldi

This beachfront property offers cable TV in each room at Silver Sands. A microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine are featured in each room. All rooms feature ocean/sea view.

I liked having the beach view, it was within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the train station. It had a back door key for going to the beach. It had the standard necessities for us like refrigerator. A comfortable chair would have been nice, but then I did not go for amenities. I would definitely stay again.

The place is rustic, but comfortable, and the second story balcony was hard to leave behind with a full view of the ocean. I'd recommend it to friends.

Tuck near Garibaldi and the Coast Guard Station, some food nearby and very quiet. Room was a reminder of the 70s era road side motel. Parking right outside your door, quick in and out of your car. Check in and check out was flawless. You can request no contact check in, I consider that a big bonus.

This property was amazing! Unfortunately, our stay was rainy so we didn’t get to see a lot of the harbour or the town, the motel was very clean and the room was spacious. There was coffee, micro and nice size fridge with a freezer which was super convenient. We would have loved to stay more nights. We’ll be back for sure.

Location, room size (handicap handbars) shower, staff nice - they even gave us a towel, bowel, and in the lobby they gave our dog a doggie bone. We didn't use the bowl or the towel. The management gave us a recommendation for food. There was a truck that was close to the motel. I was told it has great fish dishes. They were closed when I called. I think it was 5pm. A friend of ours told us that the Fisherman's Korner Restaurant. It was super, especially clam chowder-best I tasted on our Oregon Coast trip.
