They gave us a bag of snacks, a banana, an apple, and a water. There were ice and coffee available in the office. The family who owns the motel were so friendly and nice! I left my car door open in the rain and they shut it for me!!

I really liked two things. One: the staff was very friendly and greeted me with smiles and answers to my questions. They were great! Two: while the building is older and shows some signs of use I thought it was very clean and looked after. I never saw a single bug, the room was exceptionally tidy with fresh bedding, towels and toiletries.

No smoking rooms, but there was a chair and ashtray placed outside of room, which was nice. The motel is old, but they do a good job keeping the room clean and there was a full fridge in the room we stayed in. Small parking lot, but we always found a spot at the end of the day. We were able to walk across the street to 7-11 for our morning coffee. The location is just off the highway, but a 5-10 minute drive to lots of restaurants and stores, very good location for us and our son's residence.

Our room far exceeded our expectations for the price. This place is in the perfect location for exploring everything around Colorado Springs and Manitou. The staff was very friendly and the room was perfectly clean. From our room we could see garden of the gods and pikes peak!
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Everything was perfect , couldnt have asked for better. The motel is super cute and very well maintained.. the owner is super nice and very accommodating. They were very helpful with recommending places to eat and things to do.
Very clean, updated historic motel and lodge that's I'm the best location just walking distance from Garden of the Gods. Reasonable rates and a delightful staff that's helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be staying her again when I'm in Colorado Springs!
The people who run this motel are super friendly and accommodating. This is the third summer I've stayed there and the rooms are always clean and have everything I need. Location perfect.

The Mecca Motel is an old-fashioned motor lodge located in a very convenient location in Colorado Springs--just blocks from Garden of the Gods and downtown Manitou Springs. There's also a great Mexican restaurant--Amanda's--just across the street. This is not a luxury accommodation, but when you're just crashing for the night, it's clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. We would stay there again.
