Another excellent visit to The Barefoot Bay Resort.
We're never disappointed here ... The place has a real individual feel about it amongst all the big international hotels. You're greeted as one of the family and treated as such during your stay. The rooms are very comfortable and are built around a small but perfectly adequate pool, and there's a deck out back where you can sit with your coffee and watch the sunrise. Added to that car parking is free. If you're looking for a few days of "Island life" with a real feel of old Florida... This is the place for you. The owner (Stacey) does everything she can to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Thanks Stacey... We will return.

Lovely host..very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Gave us free parking from early morning and all next day if we needed it. Pool was excellent. In a very sunny spot. Lots of chairs n tables to use ..lit up green at night so looked very cosy. Comfy beds lots of space and loads storage.

The area where it is located is very good, I loved the place, very cozy and beautiful, above all very clean, the staff was very attentive in every possible way.

The location was great! The owners/ staff was super sweet and friendly. As two young woman we felt really safe and our room was nice and clean. Spacious room with a little kitchen. The pool area was also good.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!! 10/10 would recommend and the price is just fair.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Deco motel. Location. Staff. Room was whole apartment with kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, & closets. We were on a bicycle trip & were able to lock our bikes in the inner courtyard by the pool.
Location is very good; one block from an expansive white sand beach, in the peaceful part of Clearwater Beach!!! This is a very quiet and laid back motel style facility; a bit quaint and throw back to the '60's. Small rooms!!! But if you spend the day at the beach or sightseeing in the Clearwater area then room size isn't of great importance. As a couple we had sufficient space and the queen bed was comfortable.
We had a last minute overbooking and had our guests go there last minute. Laura and staff were so accomdating, finding us a great room and arranging for a late check in. Right on the beach! Classic Florida motel in a sea of condos.
The pool was about the only decent thing with this "motel".
The area however, was wonderful. Restaurants within walking distance, the beach, shops, the pier is 0.4 miles down the road and they had blow up jumper toys for the kids and a local park.
Unique location, as one of the very few motels at Gulf Blvd/Belleair Beach, which is directly situated at the beach; 1 free parking/room; kitchen w toaster, coffee machine etc.; appropriate furniture, lot of towels; nice pool; quiet; friendly owner/manager. Nice restaurants and food stores within 3-5 mi; only 8 mi to Clearwater Beach.
