It's quaintly old-fashioned and in a very nice spot close to shops, etc. We watched elk grazing right next to the road; maybe twenty of them up close. The beds were good.

All staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The view from our room was wonderful. So clean and quiet. Being there on a Sunday/Monday meant we had the pool, spa and hot tub to ourselves. We've decided we will stay here again on our next trip. Thank You!
Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
We stayed in the Thunderbird Motel, which is just a short walk from Cannon Beach. What more could one want? A small refrigerator in the room, maybe? Some of the rooms have fabulous views. Ours did not and hence it was a little cheaper...but still not inexpensive. If you have the cash, buy the view. Still, the hotel is a very short walk from the beach and not far from Haystack. Again, what more could you want? Spectacular beach and down the way, a nice town with some good restaurants.
We were never booking here again. So NOT what we thought we were getting. Pet room was discussing!! Smelled bad, was not clean, and the carpet was completely matted. With bad lighting, It feels like a motel room where you are waiting for drugs or a prostitute. The brochure isn't at all what the place depicted
Great location from which to access the beach, and walk to town. The fireplace added to the ambience, and it was nice to see that wood was supplied. The full-size laundry machines were much appreciated after a week on the road, too. We would stay there again!
This motel is a diamond in the ruff. Everthing about Webb's is awesome. The cleanliness of the room, the view and the wildlife. We loved that it is a small motel with so many personal touches. Our new favorite place to stay. We will be going back soon.
