Great service. Jenny is very thoughtful welcoming and helpfull. She thinks of the little things that make a difference in comparison to other Motels I have stayed in such as turning the heat pump on so when I arrive the room is lovely and warm. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm working in Taumarunui.
The unit is spotless, the bed is comfortable and the shower pressure is amazing. The unit has everything I need.
Let’s be real, this is a basic motel that provides a good spot to rest your head on the road to somewhere else. Don’t expect the Ritz. But if you’re looking for a hot shower, clean bed linens, and a friendly owner that will try and accommodate your needs (like charge your car or recommend a good place to eat) then this is perfect.
The property was right there coming into Taumaranui, love that there’s heaters in the room and the electric bed covers. Not many motels/hotels have their own Netflix account that you can use. I love that these little cabins are spacious and have everything and the carparking is right in front of the door so easy to carry everything in wish we could of stayed longer but definitely going to be back end of this month!! We loved that it was old and quirky, the breakfast was to die for beautifully presented.
The owners were very helpful when it was time for us to leave for our next destination as we had to a detour due to a slip on the road.
Standard new zealand motel. Clean and comfortable. Feels really kiwi. Some road noise but no traffic at night. not really walkable to anywhere and a 5min drive from nearest town. Bargain price.
