I warn sole travelers to avoid this motel! You would risky your safety during the stay! The room is clean and spacious. The staff is helpful. For multiple people stay with a car, it is okay. But I won’t choose it again.
It was so centrally located and I was able to go to eat delicious food nearby and go the Karoake at Muelle 7 Mariscos & Bar. It was the bomb. I enjoyed staying at the Motel Encuentro.
I liked the location for nightlife, food, distance from border, etc. Price was the most affordable, exterior is down right ghetto but the room was clean and modern enough, zero "roomates"(bugs). Wifi was very acceptable, mattress was modern 10", shower was hot enough. Tv is 50" but not cable but rather over the air digital. I'm fine with that. I got COZI TV after I finagled the antenna placement. It's really a "motel" but priced accordingly. Daniel the night guy is very helpful and speaks great english.

Room was clean, smell neutral. Sheets and 3 towels were new, nice, clean, smelling fresh.
The staff is very friendly. It's my second stay in this motel. Twice for an early flight. The kitchen staff is friendly too and very helpful. It's a clean place and accomodates pets too.
