Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Didn’t like anything about this place!!!
The feeling of this place was like being in a motel, to much going on outside the room, people talking, laughing, walking outside the room after 12in the middle of the night. Poor service, ridiculous restrictions. The worst experience so far!
I was a wonderful throwback to the days of motel accommodation of the 1960s and 70s. The furniture reflected as well as the simple and small pool. Good wifi and a decent cafeteria. The facilities are updated so no discomforts from that era.
Good location and parking, this is a typical Mexican Motel where couples rent by the hour. We choose it because it was well located for us on our way through GDL. There was no water in my shower and the water for the jacuzzy came out like coffee, the waste bins where still full from the previous clients. The Reception lady was accommodating but did not get the water situation fixed. Over this place is a dump with clueless but friendly staff.
This is a motel-style place with very simple rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is ok. It's near enough to walk to some nice places to eat/breakfast on Libertad and a bit further to Chapultapec Ave (which we didn't like at all - lots of thumping music everywhere).
Uber is really quick and cheap to get you to Centro. We used buses too as they were easy and cheap.
We were happy enough here and the little pool was a bonus.
Motel vs hotel in Mexico. Xcaret is a "love" motel, which has maximum security, hidden garages and food and beverage services directly to the room. Enjoyed the stay with my wife at a very reasonable price.
