Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
Big and clean room and bathroom
Receptionnist is so nice and helpful. I asked for a quiet room on high level and he took care of it
I was afraid to end up in a love motel but this is real hotel
Free parking on premise, large comfy beds, big flat TV with free netfix, fast wifi, shower behind a wall - so you don’t need to shower all bathroom including toilet 🙂 free juices and drinks by the reception.
The motel is at a nice location and has an elevator. My room was spacious and came with a face mask, body and shower lotions.
They serve free breakfast (cereals, toast with strawberry jam, milk, tea, coffee, orange juice, and eggs/ ramen). At the same room it is even possible to wash and dry the laundry for free.
The hotel even allowed me to keep my luggage for a few days there by storing it at the breakfast room.
For a motel it was very good! It was cheap and it is noticeable why but it is a perfect stay for a couple of days. The room is very clean and broad. You have everything you need there and they provide the basic necessities. There was also breakfast! don't expect one as in a hotel but for me I was just happy to have something to eat before my day.
Everything went well with my stay at Athene Motel. Its near the May 18 Memorial Park and Uncheon Reservoir, there are 2 bus stops near and 1 train station that makes it accessible.
The room is clean and spacious for one person. The hosts are kind, they let me store my luggage even after check out and come back for it. The free breakfast is basic but good. Recommended when you go to Gwangju.
Huge room with a nice bathroom and clean facilities. Great value for the price! In a busy area so there were some decent bars and restaurants around. A quick taxi to get downtown. The check in was easy and they had free parking.
