The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Very clean, peaceful motel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent and quick room service . The owner gave us a lift in the morning from the motel to the town centre with his own car.
This is a very nice albergue right next to the thermal bath. Very good beds - there is a sense of privacy. Very caring staff. Good bathrooms. And the breakfast was perfect - full set of food and good coffee. Near (next door) there is a supermarket. One of the best albergues on my Camino
An apartment in the centre of town, close to all amenities. Check in is completed remotely and the staff (Alicia) was very pleasant and efficient. I had a room with a private bathroom, and there was also a in room coffee machine.
Best breakfast on the comino: fresh fruits, melon,avocado, tortilla, good ham, cheese, self pressed orange juice, toasts, good coffee. For only 5 euros extra!!!
I didn't realize how much further out of Caldas de Reis this was. We were exhausted after a long day on the camino, and had to walk an additional 3+ km out of town. The manager was not friendly, room smelled of smoke, but was clean. Room was heated. We could hear people in other rooms and it just gave off a very American "motel" vibe - not in a good way, though nothing bad happened.
