I did not meet the personal, I could do the check-in remotely. But there is a phone number you can call 24/7 and they were very helpful.
The apartment was well equipped and clean, but the environment is a bit loud, given that many clubs and concerthalls are nearby.

I was really impressed with my stay at motel one. I feel like it was reasonably priced, very clean and an excellent location in the centre of Cologne. It was walking distance to the train station, the cathedral and all the main bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and attentive. Air con in the room was a life saver.
All staff were very friendly and always helpful.
We could check in an hour earlier and check out an hour later without extra charges. Hotel is not directly at Heumarkt so it's quiet at night. Breakfast buffet is good, good coffee, good juices and food overall. Airco worked well. Big enough walk in shower. Complimentary bottles of mineral water.
Nothing!! It was listed as having air conditioning & free parking. No air-con or free parking & owner sent us to a different address to room we booked & pre paid for.
The hotel is ok, nothing special. There is a good coffee place right next door, which was nice. It's definitely centrally located and it was clean. The bed was comfortable.
All in all a good hotel, with the option to park and also charge a car via a third party service. Rooms were clean and personnel friendly. Good coffee at reception.
