I was given a room at the end of the building with boarded up windows, shabby room, bathroom ceiling leaking.
The issue is the manager or owner hates pets but wants clients so they can charge pet fees, which was 1/3 room rent price.
But while the motel was 90% empty they gave me the shittiest room in the motel.
Why advertise it as such on booking apps.
No heat, springy uncomfortable beds.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
Breakfast was simple but fulfilling and the food was all fresh every morning. Good coffee and chill time at the bar, cozy atmosphere and welcoming staffs!
Location is literally the best, it’s in downtown area so wont get lost and it’s easy to remember the way.
Great location.
We had free parking.
Characterful apartment.
Had washing machine (we're on a road trip so this was handy for us).
Plenty of coffee available.
Location: though not in the heart of town, bus stop 90 & 104 was right in front of the motel. Easy to go anywhere. Get a day pass or 3 day pass for bus, metro.
Room: Clean, spacious and big
Free good coffee at reception
I really appreciate the corner room 127: though the windows open to a car workshop but could see the beautiful blue sky and sunset.
This motel is well located to almost anywhere you want to go in Montreal and also has a bus stop right at the front door. There are some restaurants nearby. The motel room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was comfortable. A large bathroom. The free WiFi is very good and plenty of free parking. Overall, this hotel is one of the least expensive ones in Montreal. We have family in Montreal and have stayed here several times. I would recommend Auberge St. Jacques to anyone it is good value for the money
Free parking, close to the highway, and walking distance to Vendome Metro station where I could buy a pass to then use on the bus that stops directly in front of the motel that goes to an orange and green line metro. The room was cool, and had a nice sized fridge and microwave, as well as a small but nice bathtub with great hot water. Adult channels included! The staff were pleasant. This is now my go-to place anytime I drive to Montreal.
