Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We stayed in the motel section of the hotel. The rooms look like they have been renovated quite recently. They are adequately equipped for an overnight stay. The hotel serves both lunch and dinner (we had lunch and it was very enjoyable). While the hotel is on a main road, it was very quiet during the night.
It met expectations. Nothing at all extraordinary, but clean and provided the usual - wall mounted soaps, tea coffee etc - as with other motels where we stayed - the dreaded UHT milk.
I liked the fact that we was able to upgrade from the hotel to the motel at minum cost

I stayed in one of the motel-style rooms attached to the hotel. The room that I stayed in had clearly had a recent upgrade and had a "swanky" bathroom. No complaints about the room itself.
Due to my medical problem it was necessary for me to have a room change from 1st floor hotel to ground floor motel. There was an extra cost but the end result was great.
The Bottle O manager was also great help.
