We didn’t use the breakfast facility but on observation were very impressed with the selection on offer, and the presentation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and efficient in all areas of work. The location was beautiful, facing the water. It was a 10 minute walk to town so very convenient. It was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

The property is within a 10-minute drive of Devonport Airport and Mersey Bluff Lookout. All rooms include free WiFi. It was super clean and the staff were so amazing and accommodating especially the lady at reception. Super kind!

The motel is 1 km from the historic Queenstown town centre and a short distance from the Historic Stream Railway. The Queenstown Galley Museum is a 10-minute walk and Strahan is a 35-minute drive away. We had a lovely 3-night stay at the Gold Rush Motor Inn. The room was sparkling clean, nicely decorated and exceptionally well-equipped with a kitchenette that included a good-sized fridge, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and dishes. It was very spacious with lots of room to spread out, and the bed with its lovely linens was oh so comfortable. The accommodation is slightly away from the main business district of the town, but Queenstown is a pretty small place, so this didn't matter in the least. The location is excellent for driving to Montezuma Falls (about an hour), Strahan and Hogarth Falls (45 minutes), Iron Blow and the Horsetail Falls. Upon leaving Queenstown, it is a pleasant (1.5 hour) drive to Cradle Mountain.

Guests have access to a heated outdoor pool, a restaurant and 2 BBQ areas. The receptionist was beyond helpful and serviceminded. It's probably one of the best I have encountered. The beach view and the mini terraces are delightful. Food was fairly priced. Everything in the place was good: restrooms, showers, the bed, AC, the internet. Super recommended
