We stayed in villa 10 and there were rhinos, buffaloes and much more animals next to our house. The design of the villa is on point: brand new - huge living room & kitchen, braai area, hot tub and you have your “own” chicken. The family who owns the farm is so lovely and welcomes you with open arms and hearts. We will definitely come back and will show our friends this little piece of heaven on earth. We already stayed in other much bigger game reserves but this stay was one of our South Africa highlights.

The owners Linda and Johan have the best of everything - furniture, bed linen etc

Simbavati offered everything one might expect and more from a high grade hotel, but the attention to detail went further - eg providing honey in the tea offering; not only providing a wood stove but also lighting it for us while we had dinner; and every excursion was even better than we dared hope. The cooking was glorious, excellent massage and they managed the miracle of everywhere being a comfortable temperature during quite extreme and erratic weather.
