If you are within 200km of this lodge then GO HERE and make your stay for at least two nights (I wish we had). This will be mandatory stay on our next trip to RSA, and hopefully in warmer days

For the rooms and suites, breakfast and dinner is served at Naries Namakwa in the hotel’s manor house, which is classically decorated with red curtains and chandeliers. Meal options, for the self-catering cottages can be arranged for a surcharge. The walk up the Koppie was unexpected and a real treat. If you want noise and nightlife do not go but if you want tranquility under the stars it is just the perfect place.

A barbecue is available on site and both hiking and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. If you ever want to experience a really quiet and special accommodation, you have to come here to Hanneke, Kobus and Angelo. Warm and helpful hosts with great tips of what to do locally, really nice accommodations (we had the pleasure of using both) and the wonderful serenity were great. The loudest noises around the campfire in the evening were the crackling of the firewood and the clinking of the ice cubes in the glass - and that with a spectacular starry sky. Simply fantastic. We've experienced a lot on our travels - and it really is one of our accommodation highlights. And if you're here - don't miss the great fillet when Hanneke offers it to you.
